How the pantry serves our community
Food insecurity rarely arrives alone. It follows a lost shift, a medical bill, a rent increase or a season of caregiving. Our pantry exists so that groceries are one less thing a family has to worry about while they get their footing.
Guests receive a supply of shelf-stable staples along with fresh items when available. Volunteers help carry bags, answer questions and connect guests with our community assistance program when other needs come up.
Who can receive food
- Individuals and families experiencing food insecurity
- Seniors on fixed incomes
- Households facing a temporary emergency or loss of income
- Anyone in need — help is not conditioned on belief or participation
Pantry scheduling and records
The pantry runs on its own dedicated system for appointments, inventory and guest records. That system is operated separately from this website and is used by trained pantry staff and volunteers.
Ways to help
- Volunteer for a sorting, stocking or distribution shift
- Host a food drive with your church, school, business or neighborhood
- Give financially — bulk purchasing stretches a donated dollar further
